I just got back from my third trip to Okinawa. It was my final goodbye to the amazing
summer of 2010. Here is a photo I took while camping at Tokashiki in August.

Before moving to Tokyo I lived in Hawaii so a certain feeling of nostalgia and island vibe was really refreshing and inspirational. Below you can see a limited run I did for BRILLIANT WORLD recently based on this inspiration and nostalgia.

The hibiscus design was created from the painting below that I painted in Hawaii in 2005. The year 2005 is also the year I moved to Tokyo.
